Club History

Although the club was `away` for a number of years, we once again play and promote Gaelic games (presently football) in Liverpool, with a Ladies team and Junior & Senior men`s team. Our underage system is also progressing with the help and hard work of the teachers (mainly players) from all across Merseyside. Our ladies have been All Britain champions and have moved up to a higher level of competition in only a few years. Our Junior footballers won the championship for the fifth year in a row last season.

We were the first and so far only football club side to ever win an All Ireland club game on Irish soil and the first football club outside Ireland to ever get to an All Ireland Football Final which took place in Croke Park in February 2009.
We play our games at Greenbank Park, the first official Gaelic pitch in Liverpool and play teams from all over the UK and Ireland.

The club has a vast and proud history, with many of its former players and members Liverpool born, indeed without the support of the Liverpool community we wouldn`t exist.

We also have lots of Irish members who have moved to Liverpool over the years and looking back throughout the club`s history it`s amazing to see how many people have been involved and those that still are - some of them for over 60 years!
